Joining the club

Cambridge Crossways is a competitive and social club, and welcomes "club-level" players looking for a high standard of badminton. We are particularly looking for players with experience of university, local league or county badminton, but if you're past the beginner level then do come and give us a try!

All prospective members are asked to come along to clubnight as a visitor, typically for 3 weeks. During this time, we'll check you're a good fit to join (don't worry, almost all our visitors are!).

For more information about the club, including information about fees, please check out the FAQ. We also have a lively social scene, with regular social events and trips to the pub after clubnights.

Occasionally, demand for places has outstripped the available spaces, and sadly we sometimes have to turn a number of players away. If this happens to you, we can suggest other clubs for you to approach.

If you are accepted as a member and you decide to join, then your visitors fees are deducted from the annual membership fee.
